Get ready for an incredible weekend of non-stop entertainment as Lomond Radio prepares to go live for its much-anticipated annual Radiothon. This year promises to be bigger than ever, with a remarkable 89 hours of continuous broadcasting starting at 7:00am on Friday 3rd April and running right through to midnight on Monday 6th April.

Broadcasting live from the iconic Strathleven House studios, the Radiothon will showcase the very best of what Lomond Radio has to offer. Listeners can expect a packed schedule filled with great music, engaging shows, and lively presenters, all delivered live across the entire weekend.

What to Expect

The Radiothon is a celebration of community radio at its finest. Across the 89-hour marathon, audiences can tune in to:

  • A diverse mix of music spanning genres and decades
  • Special guest appearances and interviews
  • Fun and games (and possibly a few challenges!)

Whether you’re an early riser catching the breakfast shows, tuning in during the day, or staying up late for the overnight sessions, there will always be something happening on air.

Powered by Volunteers

At its heart, Lomond Radio is a non-profit social enterprise, run entirely by a passionate team of volunteers. Every presenter, producer, and behind-the-scenes contributor gives their time freely to keep the station on air and thriving.

Supporting the Station

Throughout the Radiothon weekend, the team will also be raising vital funds to support the ongoing work of the station. Donations help cover running costs, improve equipment, and ensure Lomond Radio can continue to serve its community.

If you enjoy what you hear and want to support the station, you can donate during the radiothon here: donate.lomondradio.co.uk

Tune In and Be Part of It

Listeners are encouraged to get involved throughout the weekend – whether that’s by tuning in, interacting with presenters, or supporting the station during this exciting live event.

Mark your calendars and don’t miss a moment – 89 hours, live, loud, and full of energy. The Lomond Radio Radiothon starts Friday 3rd April at 7am – be there from the very first track.
