Loch Lomond Trails Return with a Magical New Storyline This April

The much-loved Loch Lomond Faerie Trail and Loch Lomond Nature Trail are set to reopen on April 3 welcoming families back to the shores of Loch Lomond with an exciting new storyline and fresh experiences to discover.

This season visitors can follow Rhu the Faerie, who wakes one morning to find the usually magical loch unusually quiet…as though the magic has disappeared! Guests are invited to help Rhu uncover what has happened by exploring the glimmering shoreline, meeting magical characters, and gathering clues along the way. Adventurers might discover hidden faerie homes, shimmering lights, and even encounter a wise old owl or two as the story unfolds throughout the trail.

Alongside the Faerie Trail, the Nature Trail also returns with a brand-new interactive work booklet, encouraging young explorers to engage with the woodland around them. Visitors can wander through the forest and discover everything nature has to offer from plants and flowers to animal sounds and the ever-changing colours of the trees.

To celebrate the reopening, opening weekend (April 3–5) will also feature a special Easter scavenger hunt, included in all trail tickets, giving families even more to explore during their visit.

At the end of the trail, guests can continue the fun at the on-site Farm Park, where visitors can meet friendly animals including Highland cows and playful goats.

Trail tickets are £7.50 per person, with family tickets for four available for £24, while infants can attend for free.

With magical storytelling, woodland discovery and family-friendly activities, the return of Loch Lomond Trails promises a memorable outdoor adventure for visitors of all ages this spring.
