Category 1 – Individual Entries
Open to children and families across the local community, entrants are invited to submit a design inspired by golf, summer, and the 25 year anniversary of Great Western Golf.
The winning design will be displayed on the driving range and the winner will receive a golf themed prize pack.
Category 2 – Local Primary School Competition
Local primary schools are invited to take part by submitting entries created by classes, clubs, or school groups.
Pupils can work together to design a distance marker board as a creative class project.
The winning class will receive a class trip to Jurassic Parrr, the popular adventure golf attraction at Great Western Golf (transport to be arranged by the school).
Design Guidelines
To ensure the designs work effectively on the driving range, entries should:
- Use bright colours and bold designs
- Be simple and eye catching
- Be clearly visible from around 50 yards away
- Reflect the themes of golf, summer, and 25 years of Great Western Golf
Inspiring Creativity in the Community
Yvonne Park, Operations Director at Great Western Golf, said:
“We are incredibly proud to be celebrating 25 years at Great Western Golf and wanted to mark the occasion by involving the local community. The Big Draw is a fantastic way for young people to showcase their creativity while becoming part of our venue’s story. We can’t wait to see the ideas children come up with and to display the winning artwork on the driving range for everyone to enjoy.”
The competition aims to encourage creativity while celebrating a local milestone and bringing families, schools, and the golfing community together at the start of the new season.
Schools and families interested in taking part can contact Great Western Golf for full submission guidelines and deadlines.
