Wine, Women and Song

Singers from Helensburgh are making their final preparations ahead of a fundraising concert later this month.

Tartan Harmony – a ladies’ a cappella choir – will stage the “Wine, Woman and Song” event at Helensburgh Sailing Club on Saturday 28th June, starting at 7pm.

Wine and soft drinks will be on sale, and there will also be a raffle, with organisers asking audience members to bring cash.

A spokesperson for the choir said: “We will be starting back after our summer break on Thursday 31st July. We sing in four-part harmony and rehearse every Thursday in the Hub at Helensburgh Parish Church, Colquhoun Square, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are always welcome.”

Tickets for the concert are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children. These are now available from choir members or Destination Helensburgh in Sinclair Street. Tickets will also be available at the door on the night.
