Scottish Pipe Band Championships

The Scottish Pipe Band Championships return to Levengrove Park on Saturday 26 July from 10am to 6pm — and it’s completely free to attend. Set beside the stunning Dumbarton Castle, the event will welcome over 2,000 competitors for a day of thrilling pipe band performances and traditional Highland dancing.

It’s not just about the music — visitors can enjoy a funfair, delicious food and drink stalls, and a range of crafts and traders, all in a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. With the River Leven and Dumbarton Rock as a backdrop, it’s the perfect summer day out celebrating Scottish culture, community, and tradition. Don’t miss it!
